Yemen’s Houthis Launch Footage of Militia Hijacking Ship within the Purple Sea


Yemen’s Houthi militia launched a video displaying its forces hijacking the ship ‘Galaxy Chief’ within the Purple Sea on Sunday, November 19.

The video, printed by the militia’s spokesperson, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, on X, reveals a minimum of 10 armed males on the deck of the vessel after leaping out of a army helicopter hovering above it.

The brigadier normal described the occasion as a “distinctive army operation of the naval forces, throughout which the Israeli ship was seized”.

Bodycam footage then reveals the gunmen seizing management of the ship, aiming firearms on the crew. One other clip, seemingly taken from a drone, reveals a handful of small boats crusing alongside the ship. One flies a Yemeni flag utilized by the Houthis in addition to a Palestinian flag.
