Indonesia’s Marapi volcano spews ash after eruption

STORY: The 9,484 ft excessive volcano erupted at 2.54 p.m. native time (0754 GMT), and volcanic ash was dispersed at excessive depth to close by districts, authorities stated.

Eyewitness footage confirmed clouds of ash hanging over Marapi mountain. Vehicles, crops, and roads have been coated with a thick layer of volcanic ash.

Indonesia sits on the Pacific’s so-called “Ring of Fireplace” and has 127 energetic volcanoes, in accordance with the volcanology company.
